Just one more thing

I am glad I finally got some new posts on here and the house will come soon. But with my last post I started thinking, "Okay really this is probably what scrapbooking is all about". I love making cards but had a hard time pulling out all my material and worrying that I would wreck the pictures (Even with that mentality I still went out and bought a sizzix, colluzle, and lots of embellishments, sometimes you have to wonder about me).

So I have been thinking a lot about digital scrapbooking. I just got illustrator for creativecustomlettering and think I have heard you can use that to digital scrap, I don't know how does anyone else. Secondly, if you do use an open program like that, where do you get all the cute background and embellishments? Third, what do I do once I have digitally scrapped them, anyone know? I need some help here. I think I would like to do both the blog and still scrap too. I just need to start because I have five years of pictures to do! Any help would be awesome!

You know who you should contact is Kristen Hansen (Flygare) She is so good at all of that stuff and could tell you how to do it all. Her new blog is under KMH Scraphic Design. Also if you google digital scrapbooking A TON comes up and you can surf through all of that. I hope that helps.

P.S. As soon as we get a house, I am going to be ordering some stuff from you!! I can't wait.

You are the best. I love your girls they seem so fun. When I get brave enough, we might try to have another one. I won't be brave for a while.

Jaymi-I can help you with digital scrapping. I have done several pages that way, just email me! Love the pics of your girls. My boys haven't ventured too much into makeup, but they like to get gun powder and stuff like that all over the floor!

www.scrapblog.com!!! It is the best!! I'm seriously obsessed! (You can see mine at www.scrapblog.com/briannesnow) And I'm so stoked because that website that Julie told me about (shabbyprincess)lets you download all that paper and embellishments and everything! I haven't tried it yet, but I think what you would do is upload it to scrapblog (it walks you through it, I think it says "Get Pictures"), and download it like a picture and just use those as your background or embellishments or letters. Also, on scrapblog, they have backgrounds and stickers and frames and lettering and everything for you if you didn't have any you scanned in or downloaded. Seriously so easy and I love it! You can then save it to your computer and use a printing company (I can't remember the one I just learned about, but I'll tell you as soon as I do) to have it printed and mailed to your house! It's so great! When you get to the printing part just email me or call me and I'll walk you through that. Good luck it is sooo fun!

Okay, so I am putting forth an effort to try and be better about commenting to friends and fam. I am so bad at it. (that and J gave me a guilt trip about not keeping in better contact w/ my siblings and his sisters!!!) So I am going to be better! Anywho, I have been looking into this digital scrapbooking myself and haven't figured it out yet eigther. So when you do let me know!!! Or vice versa. My neighbor just started digi scraping so I'll try to get teh low-down from her. Anyhwho, I love the pic of the girls!!! Thats AWESOME!!! Kids will be kids!!! Laugh and enjoy!!!

Ya, at the 5 year reunion was pretty cool seeing a lot of people around. I don't see many people since my family doesn't live in SJ anymore...it should be fun! I keep trying to get Josarita on the ball!

Hey Jaymi! I don't know if you have seen my recent addition to my blog, but I made a digital scrapbook blog for all of my scrapbooking. I do it all through Power Point now and it is the best!!!!! So much better than scrapblog.com. And I download all of my materials from shabbyprincess.com. Anyway, check it out and let me know if you do any because I would love to see them! And be advised...it is addicting! :)

I've pretty much switched to just doing my scrapbooks digitally. I use Photoshop, but my mom uses Photoshop Elements and likes that, too. I print out my pages from scrapbookpictures.com and keep them in binders, just like my old scrapbook pages. Email me if you need any help!
